I have extremely sensitive skin. It’s rare that I find a good skincare product that doesn’t cause my face to break out or have a horrible reaction to a product, so when I do find one, I hold onto that product for dear life! (One time I even bought 6 of the same bottles of moisturizer from France)
That’s why I was SO ecstatic to try out the Aqua Bomb Sleeping Mask by Belif!
(Disclosure: this is not a sponsored post, but I received free products in participation with Influenster, Sephora and Belif for testing out and sharing my opinions on this product!)
Not only is my skin very sensitive, it tends to get very dry. I’m from Michigan and the weather can get pretty harsh here, especially during the fall and winter months and my skin suffers horribly during those times. The Aqua Bomb Sleeping Mask boasts insane hydration and I am here to tell you that they deliver! Have you ever tried a moisturizer or skin cream and your skin sucked it up so quickly that it was almost like you didn’t even put anything on?

That’s totally my skin! I usually have to layer on skin cream and moisturizer a few times before my face actually feels like there’s lotion on, but with Belif I didn’t need to do that. The second I put the mask on my face my skin felt hydrated, it looked hydrated and it wasn’t greasy or shiny.
This mask is different from any other mask that I’ve tried. It’s actually a jelly mask. It goes on clear and you don’t need to wash it off. It works such wonders on my skin that I’ve actually started using it daily as a moisturizer. I now use it morning and night because it really helps the hydration of my face and it has made my skin look and feel so much better.
When I got my free product, I also received a small container of The True Cream – Aqua Bomb. This is an oil-free gel-cream moisturizer that also boasts improvement in hydration. I tested this out separately from the sleeping mask and unfortunately my skin ended up having a negative reaction to this product. My cheeks and jaw line broke out with painful cystic acne, which is typically what happens when I have a reaction to a product. So instead of using this as a full face moisturizer I switched to using it as an eye cream.
The skin under my eyes is very fragile and I’m already starting to see fine lines (at almost 26 years old!) and it really helps with the hydration and even diminishes my fine lines. My new routine is to use The True Cream first as an eye cream, and then I use the mask as my moisturizer and this combo has been perfect for my skin!
Even though The True Cream did cause a reaction to the rest of my skin, I still love both these products and have figured out the best way to use them with my skin type.
Belif is a great Korean Skincare company and they have amazing products. You can find them at Sephora or online on their website.
I give the Aqua Bomb Sleeping Mask a 5 out of 5 because it’s truly an amazing product!
