Mine is definitely reading about Meghan Markle, scrolling through her old Pinterest account and learning about her eating habits and fitness routine because let’s face it, I’m totally royally obsessed. Meghan is an insanely beautiful person and before she became a royal, she was very health conscious and frequently wrote about health, fitness and food on her old lifestyle blog: The Tig.
I came across her super simple, easy green juice recipe and I decided to try it to adopt some healthier eating habits. I was very surprised because it actually tasted really good and I noticed that I felt more energized during my day. It’s the perfect pick me up on a winter afternoon because it can also help keep colds at bay by fighting off viruses!
Meghan Markle’s Green Juice
- 4 Large Apples
- 6 Celery Stalks
- 2 Kale Leaves
Wash the ingredients, core the apple, de-stem the kale leaves, and throw them with the celery into a juicer. If you don’t have a juicer you can use a blender and strain the mixture through a mesh sieve to separate the pulp from the juice.
*Tip: You can add some of the pulp back into the juice for more nutritional benefit
